Leah Cornelius began her journey in aesthetics after transitioning from aerospace engineering to healthcare. As a skilled Physician Associate, she now specializes in aesthetic medicine, offering advanced, minimally invasive treatments designed to enhance her patients' natural beauty. Leah’s expertise centers around facial balancing, a technique that harmonizes facial features to create a more symmetrical and youthful appearance. She believes in the power of subtle adjustments, helping her patients feel more confident while preserving their natural look.

Leah holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She combines her medical training with the analytical and problem-solving skills she honed as an aerospace engineer. This unique blend of expertise enables her to take a holistic approach to aesthetics, thoroughly evaluating each patient’s needs and crafting personalized treatment plans that address both the physical and emotional aspects of beauty.

Leah’s practice emphasizes a patient-centered philosophy, focusing on achieving overall facial harmony rather than treating isolated areas. Using techniques such as dermal fillers, neurotoxins, and other non-invasive procedures, she customizes each approach to deliver natural, balanced results. Her background in both engineering and medicine gives her a distinctive perspective on aesthetic care, where precision and artistry intersect to elevate her patients' well-being.

Tatiana Ruiz

Patient Care Coordinator

Tatiana is Dr. Micallef’s Patient Care Coordinator and office manager. Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, she grew up in a country known for its rapid growth in the aesthetic, dermatological, and cosmetic industries. Surrounded by a society with a strong focus on beauty and innovative technology, Tatiana developed a keen eye for aesthetics. Her background in design and construction reflects her passion for architecture and design. She enjoys salsa dancing and traveling, and is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Tatiana supports Dr. Micallef by managing his clinical staff and schedule, consulting with new patients, booking surgeries, and ensuring all patient questions are answered throughout the process. Whether it’s helping with surgery preparations, financing, or recovery questions, she is dedicated to ensuring each patient feels heard, educated about their procedures, and receives a first-class experience. Tatiana is committed to empowering patients to make informed decisions about their beauty and health journeys.

Kelly Smith

Certified Laser Technician

With five years of experience in the aesthetics industry, Kelly is dedicated to helping her clients achieve radiant, youthful skin while preserving their natural beauty. Specializing in anti-aging treatments and overall skin health, she takes pride in developing personalized plans that address each client’s unique goals, delivering subtle yet impactful results.

Kelly’s approach to aesthetics centers on enhancing her clients' natural features—helping them feel like the best version of themselves. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, advanced techniques, and warm demeanor, she has become a trusted guide in her clients' skincare journeys.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kelly finds her greatest joy in her family. She is deeply fulfilled by the love and support of her husband and two children, whom she considers her proudest accomplishment.

Jill Scoggins

Licensed Massage Therapist

Jill Scoggins is a Licensed Massage Therapist with 20 years of experience, dedicated to providing personalized care for patients in pre- and post-operative recovery. In 2014, she earned her certification as a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, followed by becoming a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2021, with advanced training in the Vodder Technique of Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Complete Decongestive Therapy through Norton School of Lymphatic Drainage Therapy. Jill further broadened her expertise in 2015 by becoming a Certified Lypossage™ Therapist under Charles Wiltsie.

Known for her versatility and expertise, Jill is often described as a “Jill of All Trades and Master of Many.” Her passion for learning and teaching led her to become a Massage Therapy Instructor in 2017, where she prepares students for the MBLEx and leads classes in holistic practices such as Reiki, Meditation, and Chakra Healing. Her extensive certifications also include Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Hypnotist, Life Coach, and Tarot Mastery. In 2021, she completed a four-year shamanic seminary and became an Ordained Minister, reflecting her commitment to personal and spiritual development.

When she’s not working or teaching, Jill enjoys connecting with friends and family worldwide through RPG and strategy video games, which have inspired her to travel and explore new destinations.

Lina Ballance

Lina comes from a rich background in the beauty and hair industry, where her passion for customer care truly shines. With a focus on patient-centered service, she goes above and beyond to provide reassurance, answer questions, and offer expert knowledge to help clients reach their aesthetic goals. Lina is dedicated to treating each patient individually, ensuring they receive a top-notch experience that makes them feel confident and cared for throughout their journey.

Originally from San Diego, California, Lina moved to San Antonio with her husband and young son, bringing a bit of the coastal lifestyle with her. Their adventurous spirit led them to pack only what they could fit in their cars and drive across the country to their new home. Despite her love for her new city, Lina still seizes any chance to travel back to the Southern California beaches she holds dear. Above all, she treasures spending time with her family, whether enjoying a night out or staying in to make cherished memories together.
